Bollock's they do.
You have to buy them separate but tbh they arnt worth buying just plug in to the router.
You get xbox live yearly or pay monthly but it's worth every penny.
I've been online with my xbox for 3 years now and it's fucking ace

J1mbo mate dont bother with the wireless adapter they are wank.
You just end up getting kicked off line with them.
Just plug it in
is down stairs though and xbox will be upstairs in my room Either drill a hole through your bedroom floor and drop the cable through or you could run it down the stairs, cant see anybody minding mate. Or you could just get the wireless thingy
Hth

We have both well the kids have a 360 and a wii in there games room and we have a 360 and ps3 in our living room, and tbh the ps3 is probably the better choice for online gaming altho i cant fault the 360 even if u have to pay to go online!
As usual a lot of unaccurate information on passionford! As said above no xbox comes with wireless network adapter built in, it can be had for £40 online in most places and zavvi are doing xbox live 12 month subscription for £29.99.
The online adapter does not get you kicked out of games, though for latency and speed, cable is better as it will connect at 100mbps. The difference in the elite and pro 360's are colour and hd size and the elite comes with a free hdmi lead. I think the pro is excellent value at £159.99 or cheaper and some good deals available on it.
Pc World have a clearance on older games starting from £2.97 so may be a few games worth picking up. As for PS3 and online, it may be free but it is far from Xbox live quality and the playstation store is poor. Its like paying Reyland £30 or getting a service from a bedroom trader.

There is a path there mate just follow it, if you mean where the save point is where a hole open's up go to the right

Not all routers are created equal and most certainly do not sustain a 54mbps connection speed, usually around 15-20mbps and with encryption turned on this can be even lower! This is the difference in price between a £20 54G router and an £80 one.
I would choose an ethernet cable connection over wireless for gaming and streaming HD video but sometimes its not possible due to location etc..
Could be a dodgy router? We use the Xbox 360 via wireless and it games, streams and downloads fine. We are on 20mbps down, 768kb up using a linksys 300mbps router and its fine. Had it around a year and half, maybe longer.

Noone's ever going to agree on the PS3 or XBOX being better, theyre both built for different things.
