engine was rebuilt about 4months ago and had a new gaskit and other stuff used the standard gaskit kit from ford think it was around 60odd pounds
ive been running the car every other day as its off the road for xmas and its been sat in the garage so i got it moved via traller to my new house and its been sitting outside for about 2months now no cover nothing just been to check the dipstick and water and oil cap and found mayo on the inside of the oil cap, not lost anywater whats so ever and no sign of mayo on the dipstick but is on the top of the oil cap[inside of cap], got a light and had a look in the head and no sign of mayo just the oil cap
like i say no mayo in the oil via dipsick or no water loss the car aint been started for 1week as its been a busy time but ran it today no sign of mayo after 1hur of sitting after starting.

is it just condensation within the oil cap and oil from the engine after ran before.

 

could be just condensation.had the headgasket gone b4 u did rebuild?

 

As above id say it's just condensation if it's been sat round for awhile

 

How much is it? A bit isnt something to worry about. Take it for a good spin. YOu will that its gone when you check again.

no i had the head removed and rebuilt so i replaced the gaskit while it was off.

looks like theres no sign of it after a drive....

 

just condensation si would stress they all do it if left a while
