Tonight whan i parked my car looked at the clock's and my battery light has come on and the rev counter is all over the place. Stays at 1500-rpm whan driving and than whan i press the brake it go's down to 0-rpm for some reason has this happend to anyone else.

 

sounds like your alternator,on mine when battery light came on when i pressed the brake the engine died

 

thats a point mate my alternator belt have been makeing a right noise but only at night lol for some reason dont add up

 

could be the drop in temps making the rubber more harder and hence the noise until it warms up perhaps?

 

I would say alternator was at fault. Obviously more apparent at night because its under more load with the lights on and i'd assume the heater blower being on as well.
