My mate has got a 1974 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 which is one of the best in the country and he's also in the process of restoring a 1965 Buick Riviera that he's turning into a low rider.

My mate adam has a few, he gets some of his spares through USA, in Wymondham 01953 601410.
Just don't expect speed, just because of engine size, although mpg can be surprisingly good 25+.
He has a 76 firebird esprit(camaro), 77 stingray, and s10 stepside at mo.
The vette is a small block(5,7) and std came with TWIN 1150 double pumpers loads of soot from exhaust and around 2mpg.
Now on a 650 vac secondary, so 25mpg is not a problem, spares are often a lot easier to get/quicker than present day ford stuff from dealers.
Nice cars though, shocking handling and brakes/build quality.

my ma used to have a 350 iroc z z 28, it was a top of the range z28 and it made the floor rumble, nice car and it had bilstein suspension. same engine as a corvette but miles better looking.
my old man has a place in america and the best and cheepest way to buy a yank is to go over there and buy one and send it back. we did and picked it up from southampton.

theres tons of stuff on ebay america ie ebay.com the geezer in stoke is very dear imo but has been going for years.
the black late model ta looks like a gta to me
we had a firebird formula too but the iroc made it look cheep

if your talking about trans ams and smokey and the bandido you gotta get the name of the car right, its Trigger or the later one in smokey and the bandit 11 was son of trigger after the fact the bandit is a roy rogers fan and ol' roy sings in the films.
i saw one in america that had trigger under the bandit licence plate and it sent goosebumps up me.
