finally getting round to laying the glassfiber tissue and matting on my "plugs" to make the mould for my wing mirror casings im moulding out of carbon.

It hasnt been built yet, I dont have time to actually have it to the stage that I want it to be at to consider it "finished" so Im merely working through the things I think are most important to have it ready to at least get out on track on sunday and have a bit of fun with, anyone expecting some awesome handling mega quick car though, is going to be bitterly dissapointed, as its not that yet.

what kind of power do you expect it to be running roughly sunday? im sure it will still be quick and fun to drive without it being finished to the stage you want it to be

Its within a few % one way or the other of 300bhp mate, but the power delivery isnt great as its on a turbo twice as big as is needed at that level, so Id imagine most 300bhp LET's would in fact be quicker in the real world, as its built for far more, but until its on the Autronic and mapped which I wont have chance to do by then, Im stuck with the limits of the standard management for a while.

be nice to see a nova thats genuinly fast rather than 99% of novas which have been chavved and are all show and no go (using "show" in the loosest possible way not accounting for taste with some of those gay "kombat" body kits! They should of left it at a GSI body kit and been done rather than ruining the car).
Mine isnt yet quick though, im going to get my arse handed to me by everything on track everytime I go out, as it doesnt corner well yet.
Even the tracking is only done by eye at this stage, not been near a gauge.
Im using it purely as a chance to get experience of driving it without worrying about blue lights, im not expecting it to be quick round the track,
After the Tigra has died il have to come out for abit, its not going to be that fast or safe but hell its going to be fucking fun!
Yeah its a good giggle, although what it doesnt do, is go sideways, the rear has a lot more grip than the front, so its plough on understeer in huge portions
