hi there lads any idea who's the best person to get a 4x4 escort dry sump kit from cheers

 

there isnt one for the 4wd range due to the crosshaft going through the sump, you would need to make a bespoke system

 

plus the fact that there would be nowhere to mount the diff

 

i also want to know this?

Andrew Gallacher told me charlie shaw runs a dry sump set up on his 4x4 cossie focus with a modified standard sump, ive asked him for some more info on who done it but can anybody else shed light on this?

Pace products can make 1off dry sump kits they made me 1 for my s1 race car,not cheep but worth every penny

 

Try Mark Baines Race Engineering,saw one on a cosworth engine he had on his trade stand at the Autosport show last week.

you can give www.gabat-tuning.at a request or call. they use a dry sump at theire own race monster.
it´s special made by several parts from pace and also a lot of parts which are constructed by themselves including a modified 4x4 sump.
they spend 18 months for testing and thinking about what´s best, because like most people know, andreas gabat always goes 110% perfect.
and for his actuall hillclimbracer which is now driven by h.p. laber he used to have a really,really perfect kit.
caused by the big bodykit, the lot´s of aerodynamic-parts, and of course the engine-power (nearly 900hp/700 lb.ft) revs up tp 9200 rpm,
they always are at very high speed at cornering.

so dry sump is essential for them.
