CHEERS GUYS!!!!

i got all the waxoil off with good old petrol lol, it just melts all the waxoil then when it looked all clean i used panel wipe to finish it all off then it was time for all the preping and painting begin

it has taken me roughley 5 weeks so far doing a few hours every night, im just wainting for my petrol tank to comeback from the paint shopind and need to get a few other bits and peices made then i can get it finished off.

i have finished work for christmas so im hopefully going to ge it finished over the holidays.
its hard work but well worth it when you see the end result!!

cheers
Andy

looks good but i wouldn't use stainless bolts. all the suspension bolts have a rated tesile strength & stainless bolts generally are nowhere near as strong.

Very nice.
Excellent work your doin by the look of pics.
Nice rot free chassis is good to see.
As above regards stainless bolts though, check the numbers on the bolt heads, think most standard Ford ones on a Saph susp mounts are 10.9,the stainless are probably only 8.8 grade.

Don't use stainless bolts for sus mountings

Have the originals re plated

Good job tho

Don't come cryin on here if one of them snaps then and you smash car up!!!!!!!

I would have thought there was a reason Ford used higher strength bolts, deffo was not cause they look good!!!!!!!!

Please do not use those bolts last thing we want to hear is a death and also you will not be insured so any passengers will not get a payout

Its your choice but fixings are a crucial part of any car!!

You think Ford would have used stronger/more expensive bolts than needed???????

I doubt it,as above, there must be reason for using higher strength bolts.
