I have CompBrake kit on my Escort.. CANT complain! I have tryed driving/braking like a maniac serveral times with out having the feeling of "now I need to stop, and let te brake take a break"

Havent tryed a real full trackday... but I would say the braking on the country hairpins acceleration and braking would give an idea about if they work or not .. std brakes where ok.. but this is MUCH better!!!!

By the way.. my kit is a 335/32mm 6pot caliper and 300mm std caliper

Hoe this helps you out.

I live local, and know a couple of the lads that work at Compbrake, they rate thier stuff as good as AP.

They have said that under independent testing between Compbrake Kits and the nearest AP kit, the Compbreake kits have less flex on the mounting brackets etc.

Sounds impressive - but its personal opinion on weather you choose AP and pay for the name, or the equally as good Compbrake kits.

Saying that, I do have a set of AP6600's on mine at the moment (330x28mm discs) but I wouldn't say no to a Compbrake kit

You can get 2nd hand AP 4pots with 330mm disks & Pads for £800.00, thats what I did even paid an extra £100 to get them repainted & checked over.

I'd looked at Comp brake & for the money they do look like a good kit.
