when opening my drivers door it drops slightly and it annoys the life outa me.door pin??easy job to do if it is?

 

Have you checked the hinge itself just to makesure it's not loose.

 

2 ways,take the dash out and slightly moved the hinges,or the slighty cruder way,open the door and pull it up a bit if ya feeling strong!signs people been hanging off it!

 

hinges look fine.thot the pin might have been worn if thats possiblewill have a right gander tonight and see if i can see anything.cheers peeps.

 

they dont tend to ware,dout it will be that

 

no need to take the dash out on a mk3 (series one) just remove the speaker cover in the footwell and you can get to the bottom bolts piece a cake,and if you remove the plastic pocket to the right of the dash, "under the switches" you can get to the bolts for the top hinge piece of cake also.

 

my pins had worn on the drivers door of my s2, replaced the pins and is good as new. cant be a bit of a bastard, replaced my when i restored the car, had to air chisel them out
