I have just finished fitting a rebuilt engine and recon box, got the car home last night and noticed box oil on the exhaust and on the driveshaft How can I sort this? must be a seal between the driveshaft and the box, is the seal inside the box or on the shaft?

 

there are 2 seals one each side of the box where the drive shafts go in mate

 

How do you get to them tho, just shafts out, new seals on and shafts back in?

 

you have to take the drive shafts out then you will be able to see them mate then lever them out with something and put new ones in and that should solve it
