Default paypal phone line

me got a problem!
i sold something on ebay and the buyer didnt like it when it arrived and started a dispute asking for some money back.
i said no because it was listed spot on and the bloke is blatently just trying it on, but the thing is paypal have suspended that money in my account til the issue is resolved.
im now in arreas and worried about what will happen to the money.
ive read up and it says we have 20 days to escalate the dispute into a claim or it will be closed.
the buyer hasnt escalated it yet and i dont think they will either but what hapens to the money when the dispute is automatically closed after 20 days?
do i have to escalate it to a claim to ge my money back or does it go back into my account automatically?
it does not mention this anywhere!
i have tried phoneing them but its just asking for a 6 digit web code which i have no idea what that is, plus i cant find out any info on that code either.
any help would be great cheers.

they will give you the money back if they find in your favour. I put in a dispute when I bought some skirts and spats by paypal (not on ebay) and some bits of it were missing. They deducted the money from him, but decided to give it back to him as it wasn't bought through ebay. I lost Ł90 and have skirts with 2 missing jacking point covers and 1 bumper spat.
I'm now waiting for Paypal to send me his address.

easiest way is to offer th eguy a full refund on receipt of the goods back, that way he will have to face losing the postage and paying for the postage to send them back, most wont bother, this way you are being fully amicable as far as paypal see it, so will then ask him to provide a tracking number to you to prove he has sent the goods, and only when you tell them you have received the goods in the condition they where sent that they will give him his money back less postage either way.
