Would like some info on this car, it was brought to me today with the oil light flashing and making some nasty noises, its claimed by the last owner to have a 1.9 toll block running a t4 cossie turbo with an output of 276 bhp,

Yeah right its a rusty old 1.6 cvh covered in oil and on a standard rst turbo unit, the print out he was given looks like it was done on their pc at home, one of the stickers reads bubble motorsport ?

 

i was thinking of buying this, thank fook i didnt

I'll try and find out what company name he used to fake the power run graph, its still using mfi managment with no fifth injector so i dont know how the fueling could cope with 276bhp, also im pretty sure a t4 turbo would require a different size id hose for inlet not the standard rs turbo item and would require so modifying to fit plus its still using the rst down pipe etc, he's just checked the car id and its come back as a xr3i, reckon he should of done his home work before getting it, its a right piece of shit.

 

that car didnt used to have gotech in it did it ???? the number plate looks familiar . sure some one was selling it on here about 2 years ago. probably different reg , but it was the first thing that come into my head ?

it used to be my mates it used to spin in 5th in he dry when he had it so must be fucked no lol

 

must of had a engine swap

 

Would a T4 even fit behind the radiator? Its pretty tight with the standard T3. I bet it would be lovely and responsive to drive on a T4 as well

 

Must of had an everything swap mate, right bag of crap i could write an essay on whats up with it, im not suprised in the slightest it packed up.

 

So is it as bad as we feared then Paul??? It sounded a heap when you told me about it last week.
