Default Pics needed ! Escos with FRS rims please...

Do you have pictures of some Escorts with Focus RS rims ?
As they are ET42, big spacers are needed, no ?

you can buy hubcentric spacers which are 16mm, which more or less brings them up to the desired 25mm (well only 1mm out!)

but ive not seen any pics of those wheels on an escort yet.

if your local your more than welcome to try my FRS wheels on your Escos.

In 18, I think I'll have to put more for the clearence between the tire and the shocks...
Thanks for the proposition Kelv, but I'm french and I live in Paris, it's a bit far

The car in the picture is German, the sticker on the windscreen should be a giveaway... I actually considered buying that a few years ago, looks like a nice car.

The funny thing is, that Kelv has spent many hours with me in that workshop where the photo was taken, so he should have spotted it as well .

some more pictures
I have seen some of these on the efe this year and I think it still looks strange with those big spacers
and it seems that you can really see that they don’t belong on a escos
but that off course is just my opinion

Sorry didn't get a chance to reply but here are some pics of my car on focus rims. - I took them off because of the spacers that were needed.

Not sure if I agree I don't think I like black wheels

They do look better in the metal, but I think it the black that puts me off them they just look too small.

I love your new wheels Dan !!
One guy wanted to sell his 8x18 ET15 Team Dynamics, but I have no news from him anymore. I would have prefer these ones.

Can you tell me what was the size of your spacers ?
Your car looked well with FRS rims, because they were correctly "spaced" in the wheel arches.

I can have a set of FRS rims for a correct price, but between the look and the spacer's story I don't know what to do. Maybe wait to have a little more money to buy some new Comps...

Clickettman - as i said further up the post, you can buy hubcentric spacers in 16mm which would bring the Focus RS wheels near on close to the escorts offset of 25mm.

42mm offset with a 16mm spacer = an et26 (1mm out)

if you wanted them to sit as the et15 that many suppliers chose to sell 18" wheels for the escort cossies (such as Martoon on the Comp MO's, and Paul with the Monte/Ripley wheel)
then you would need a spacer of 27mm!!

I thought Paul had sold the company/rights to a Spanish company?
