Default New car..st200 ?

Now ive stopped buying ICE and ive got a PC that will last a good year and a half, i have some more money (£200 more a month ) to spend on fuel, which means i can afford to go nurburgring etc.

Ive outgrown the focus now and been looking at mondeos for a while, seen a few X reg st200's and really like the look of them.

I was wondering what tuning parts are available for them, more suspension and brake wise than power, 200 is plenty enough for me and being FWD is near the limit really anyway for sensible traction without a hugely expensive Quaife.

I want to attend the PF Nur trip next year and ideally have both the car and the handling sorted out by then!!

Thankyou

Suspension wise I would either leave it alone as it is very good on the handeling anyway or go for a set of Konis on it. Brakewise MK3 calipers with ST170 discs gives an instant upgrade from 276 to 300mm. Or the Focus ST225 calipers and discs fit to make it 225mm but a lot more money.

I run a pair with the 300mm conversion and they are a huge improvement over standard.

thankyou, good that ive chosen a car that doesnt need much doing to it

Gotta buy and fit a whole new interior in the focus due to a silly mistake i made in it a while ago, fix some scratches and pay parents £500 then i can sell it and buy an st200

what year can i go up to to avoid the new big tax bands, is it X reg ?
