mk3 mondeo remote locking playing up

mk3 mondeo remote locking playing up

cars been fine for ages, today went for drive parked up pressed the lock button and it locked then unlocked itself instantly, ive checked all doors bonnet boot etc, whats going on is there a common problem?

Possibly the module is fooked

A previous ST24 mrk 2 mondie i owned did this ..........then would work for weeks then do it again

My missus focus does similar things, quite often will lock and unlock itself when your driving along.

Dont know if they share components??

My MK2 did exactly the same, replaced the locking mechanism in the drivers door from a scrapped car fixed it.
