Ever since i have had the escos it looks like there is a part missing !

As i am currently re-building the escos i think it maye be best to get another cross member

What are your thoughts...

Someone has probably tried to jack the car up under it at some time. Looks like a piece has broken off.

 

I thought the same, but tbh i thought they were stronger than that. !

Get it replaced Alex, even if its just for peace of mind.

 

They're not that strong, made a bit of a mess of mine when driveshaft came out to play Get a new one!

 

Engine out then...... going to be nothing left soon ...

i would say that is fixable. I had similar damage in the middle of it from previous owner using the car as recce car without sump-guard and I had this welded up by aluminium eingineering ocmpany and they had wedled some streghening to it in some other spots when doing that. Looks almost factory as well.

 

if you need one i have a spare that came from a very low miles car. £10 plus the post and its yours

 

I changed mine without taking the engine out, need to lift it up a bit though obviously
