mine was done cheaply and you could buy a whole other s2 for what it cost, depends how much you like s2's i suppose
The next RS owners day is Durham & Derbyshires trackday on the 8th of February at Mallory Park

There's a big difference between fitting Cossie management and buying a Cossie!!
Also, you'll need a fair chunk more power in the Cossie to feel as fast as the S2 IMO and the bills will be bigger!!

cossie is not the budget option anymore i think Go Tech MFi is the cheapest because you don't need to convert to efi
omex as about the same as cossie if you have it fitted
but if your confident you could fit it yourself then cossie stuff works out cheapish

Which ever managment you choose will be far better than mfi by far, i choose dta on my series 2 and it completly changed the car, well worth spending the money. Best way to decide is to go to a rst specialist local to you and go with what they like / now how to work with, weather ie be cozzy, dta, gotec

talk to your chosen tuner pal. if you take your car to someone regularly then they will have their prefered system that they work with. virtually all efi systems will be miles better than the mfi setup on your car now.
having said that, my personal preference is cossie management. loads of cars use it these days with proven results, just take the nms cars as an example. i'm currently in the process of converting my s2 to run a p8 and the deciding factor was that i could do it myself on the drive as well as the fact there are so many people up and down the country who can tweak it if need be. at the end of the day the final decision on what to chose will lay with you but just look at what you want to do with the car. it's all good paying out for say a motec ecu with launch control, als, active spark, data logging etc but if it's going into a road car then how many of the features are you going to need?
