well the xr6 fell through as it had a few issues the main one it had scrapes front to rear under the car were it had left the road scuffs on the bottom of the bumpers and a few other bit's and bobs i did not like so i left it there. while i was there i spotted an xr8 Devil R with the boss 260 v8 in it. i went on the net and discoverd it to be a limited modle 88 of 125 by all accounts. so as i like the look of it and finding another xr6 turbo was turning into a mare all the one's i found had niggles only small but enough to put me off. so off for a test drive it drives mint sounds awsome and has a good spec so i did the deal lol, so a few piccs of my new toy

if the mondeo is a 5.4 ltr rwd 350 bhp, 500 nm torque 4 vpc dohc per bank v8 i reckon. but i think the mondeo is a bit shy on power and fwd. i kid you not i looked at one today but thought this would be more fun than the tdci mondeo. theres some good deals about at the moment with the credit crunch.

 

isnt that what they use in the v8 supercar championship? looks shweeeet.

the place i got the car from sponsor his race team he was a great bloke real down to earth and loves cossies, he was a right laugh he had his cars there today but when i came back from me test drive they where packing them away so missed me chance of a foto in his car. i will go back next time he is there and get some piccs. to be honest i got the arse with the sales bloke and went and had a word with dick johnson before he went the sales man had the arse but fook him lol. i wanted to meet this bloke and have a chat while i could
