are you joking?

depends on how much is bored out! - what size is it at the moment?

or is this a trick question?

boreing is basically makeing the holes where the pistons go bigger - so the piston size will depend on how bad the bores are and how much is bored out

unless you are going for silly power; standard mahle pistons will be enough

edit to say: if its just a lip, you could probably get away with a hone - best off taking it to someone who knows what they are talking about IMO

if you want it checked and built for you; take it to Reyland

if you just want the machining work done; take it to a company called halesowen engines

No point just honing the bores and fitting new std size pistons (if thats what they are at the moment) as bores wear oval from front to back, go for +0.5mm and you will be just fine.

I can get the block bored with torque plate for Ł100 cash but you would need the pistons also to determine the bore size prior to maching. Based near Birmingham

Mate I was running my car on a pretty tight budget and Martin's sorted me twice for VERY sensible cash. Go and speak to him.
