ok, in the market for gauges now for my S2, and in particular want an oil pressure gauge for peace of mind, but wondering, which type is best? not just brand as such, altho any advice on that is great, currently looking at stack..
my main issue is mechanical or electrical?
heres the mechanical gauge im looking at...
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/produc...code=STAST3101
..and heres the electrical version, albeit more expensive..
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/produc...code=STAST3201
which type do people prefer for fitment to an ERST, whats goin to be involved in fitting each type, and which is best for accuracy etc? and what extra bits am i likely to need, other than the 'required sensor' they provide? power and earth and switch wires are obvious lol
basically, a dummies guide to oil pressure gauges would be magical please dudes lol

whats the deal with fitting a mechanical gauge?
i kno roughly it needs an oil feed, plus the basic wiring to power the lighting etc, but where do u pick up the oil feed? is the sensor they provide a t-piece or sumthin, n pick up maybe off my oil cooler? im at a complete blank here really lol

if you buy a new one it will come with an adapter that you screw in the hole where the presure switch is then the switch goes in the end and the pipe goes onto another outlet its very simple when you see it
