i needed a part for my hilti drill, £5 odds but they bumped it up to nearly £15 by the time they added a minimum balance handling fee. who adds bullshit charges like that nowadays apart from hilti?

I used to use them about 40 years ago, have you seen a nail go into an RSJ in one hit?

right need to fix this to concrete and there is a little requirement.
the nail point should protrude out of the gun in order for me to put this strip over the nail before i fix it . ensuring the nail goes through the hole.
not like mf stud where the nail just fires anywhere through the tin and fixes it.
also need a tool with as long as poss extention to so i can reach the slab with out needing higher access tower/steps etc.
big ask i know!

Never had a problem with Hilti products, other than the price of the 2 part tubes!

What sort length are you trying to fix/ how many nails.?

You'll be lucky with a 1m stretch.

Where abouts are you based? I could get you our hilti reps phone number from work but he will deal in the northwest area?

Also hilti and spitt both do gun extensions so that you can use the gun up to 2-3 metres. We use them at work to shotfire to eiling slabs through lay-in grid ceilings.

Aslo once you have found the correct shot fixing to suit the 'all round' band that you need to fix. The depth of the nail will all depend on the power of the cartridge and the settings on the gun itself.

Hilti/spitt will explain this, but you may have to pay them to train you to use the guns safety/correctly?
