can anyone recommend a good adaptor / convertor so that i can run a aftermarket head unit in my mk5 fiesta please. what needs doing? what do i need to buy? also im planning on having a amp and 1 smallish sub in the boot and at up some point 4 new speakers to replace the standard ones. however i planning to sell the car a few months after xmas so im not sure whether i want to be messing around with fitting new speakers and then having to take them back out to sell it. can the standard 1s cope if i get a half decent head unit?

yhep standard ones will cope fine. why would you want to spend all the time and money just to take it al back out again in a couple months?

my saph has a alpine head-unit with the standard speakers from 20 years ago. Still sounds good

yeah i know it sounds odd but have been asked for ideas for xmas pressies so i thought i will get it now and then just change it over into the next car
