Just a pet hate. Nothing to lose sleep over. I dont have a problem with Richard, seems like a fine guy, but those type of post annoy me, instead of "i do, what do you fellas do?" not hard to write is it. And yes, I know its pedantic, but its my opinion, to which I am entitled.

I'd like to drive mine everyday, well infact just once would do! it was broke when I got it, then it was fixed, then it broke, then it was fixed, and yep it's now broke again
Hopefully be alive again by the weekend!

 

it goes in the garage over winter. but soon as summer comes i swap the insurance over and put the daily runner away. nothing beats driving to work in a freshly valeted RS on a crisp summer morning, wakes me up a treat

 

I use mine to go to work and back monday to friday.On a weekend we i use the wifes fiesta.I used to put mine away for the winter and use my dads car but he is retired and sold his fiesta.

 

i used to use the saff everyday and all weathers. the escort i dont,because i now own the house and have garage use plus i dont trust it being parked at work.had too many cars hit in the car park to risk the escort

 

i use mine monday to friday to go to work in and at the weekend drive the missus' merc

 

Same with my work, students who dont know how to park, not worth it ! Already had the jeep hit so wont be risking the saff !

 

our saff was used daily, not one of the " argh its gonna rot after 1 winter of salt" clan

I wish i could! It hasn't been out for nearly a year. Almost no point in keeping her anymore. If i had secure parking at work, or at least close by, i would bring her into work every day.

i use my xr daily its got plenty of battel scars now i used my rs after it had the wack untill the tax run out but i doubt i'll use it as a daily to juicy lol

I just love the thought of getting up in the morning and thinkin mint im going in the cossie. To be honest though if my car was mint mint i wouldnt use it in the winter. I use to use my dads car in winter then put mine in the garage but he has sold his car now. Since i need my car to go to work in it just sits on my drive getting covered in rain n snow n shit.

 

I can do and have done many times when i've nothing else spare to get me to work everyday - just the daily 15 mile round trip to Ł10 of fuel is more than i can afford over long periods
however it's been there to use when i needed it and has got me there and back with no issue, so i'd trust it to use everyday again

 

No mine is a toy, summer use for shows and excursions only

My first 2 were my only cars at the time so got used and abused and broken daily

One of mine that is being built will be kept at work I think and used when its nice out, and the other is on the drive to be used as and when I fancy, whatever the weather. My Vectra is my reliable, touch wood, everyday car for now

 

Saff everyday and the 3 door when its dry
