had 'one of those days' today ? Fuck me, I've had a belter !!

Get into work at 7.45 as two guys I work with are off and I was out most of last week so knew there would be a rake of stuff on my desk. I wasn't wrong. Expected though, so no big deal. Then I get a call from the builder, who I've been trying to get hold of for 3 days to give me a price on putting a new kitchen in my house. He gives me the price and it's a grand more than I'd expected.

Then the IT system goes on the fuck at 8.30 and worked sporadically until 3pm. By now I'm steaming, got a days work ahead of me and got everyone screaming. Along with 3 soppy tarts who are ringing me every 15 minutes. Start getting stuff done and then get aforementioned silly tarts having a pop at me 'cos the top bod has not given them the answers they want. And that's my fucking fault is it sweetcheeks ? It's his firm so what he says goes, and if they carry on they may well be the first. Worked my nuts off, and at half 6 thought I'd call it a day. Ten and three quarter hours straight, spent alot of time sitting about as the systems were fucked I grant you, but still ten and three quarter hours and alot less than some, I know. Goes to leave and realise that I don't know how to set the alarm so try to get hold of someone and no-one picks up. Ring me back after ten minutes, set that and off I go. On way home and get stuck behind some dozy cunt in a Micra insisting on being a model citizen and sticking to the 30mph speed limit. For 6 miles and 20 minutes. For those that may have missed it earlier I'll repeat.

Oh, and me and the missues have been rowing all day as well. Roll on midnight, fuck off Monday.

 

Nothing wrong with 30 in a 30, can't get stressed with people sticking to limits, may have saved you getting caught speeding, never know.
30 or 40 in a 60 then yes, get very stroppy!

Same here mate, today was a right shitter.
Got into work at 6:30, loads of shit went on last night in the factory, so loads of crap to sort, then I had to do one of the other drivers midday run cos he fucked up, but i get a ear full from the manager, who i return fire too, then get in trouble for that, then get back intime for my afternoon run, traffic everywhere and walk through my front door at 7:23, quality day and only another 5 to go.
