Outer door handles
I know this sounds daft but should they be black or body colour ? Thanks for any help

Mine are black. I'm sure they are supposed to black.

Surely this depends on spec? Didnt motorsport & standard have black, and lux ones body colour?

Didn't know this. Mines a 1993 large turbo, non lux.

Mines a K plate to mix it up even more?
They might have been colour coded when the previous owner got it flicked over???

big t had colour coded as well,there seems to be a few realy early ones that had standard handles though

Thats correct a friend had a J plate BT & that had colour coded handles.

Mines a 93 BT and colour coded, I had them done years ago when I had the front end tidied up, and at same time changed the wing mirrors to ST ones as they look better. Who knows what has been changed over the years with our cars.

mines Mreg ST with colour coded think its just whatever happened at the factory, as theres lots of LT+ST of all reg's with a mix!?

It wouldnt suprise me if it was an Optional Extra to have them Body Coloured, but im sure most have had a bit of paint here and there or a full paint and had the handles done at the same time.

Mine is a 1992 K Reg Lux. It didn't have colour coded handles but it does now.
