Default who knows escos wiring plugs

just wndering if i was to get some pics of some connectors from a escort wiring loom could someone be able to help and tell me where they go

as theres a few connectors im unsure of, behind the dash, and engine bay, also i have 2 connectors that i havnt a clue where they go inside the car they split off in the middle and can either go towards fuse box or back of car lol

let me know and ill go grab some pics

get the pics up mate, I'm sure we'll suss it out. I have most of the wiring diagrams on the TIS disc, so can check wire colours etc. Might not be immediately mind lol.

ok heres a couple of pics

this one is in the engine bay and runs down rivers inner wing and has the heat proof sleeving on it like the lambda does




and heres those 2 connectors in the middle of the car, now ive just looked and the colours are the same for the boot release and lock sensor in the tailgate, but how do they get up to the tailgate



could someone take a pic of the hinge part of there tailgate where the screen wash goes through to see if any wiring goes through there, if not i havnt a clue lol

It doesnt go through the hinge end ,where the boot lock on the body is there should be three contacts which when you shut the tailgate the three prongs which stick down come into contact and power goes through these and into the tailgate,and powers everything in tailgate does this sound ok

i have the 3 prongs, but i dont have any tailgate wiring so its hard for me to understand what should be there, alls i have is wiper motor, lock and latch lol

so i need to know where these connectors go now then as i havnt a clue

The tailgate wires should go through the rubber grommet that goes into the tailgate by the hinges. On some Escorts this is a seperate loom that goes from the main wiring harness into the tailgate. I've never dismantled that part of my Cossie to know if it has that too though...

1st wire.....maybe the abs.

i'm getting my car back tomorrow to start stripping it down so get a few connectors pictured so i can try and find them for you.

hi mate the 2nd set of wires goes down the drivers side over the rear wheel arch to the back of the car ,the wiring from the bootlid comes tru the roof at the top centre rear of the car and comes acroos the roof and down the c pillar just taped to it with duct tape and connects to the wires u have,
