hi all right i have no spark
1st i have ign live to coil but on the 2 green wires there is a weak earth
next i noticed i have no power or earth to dizzy wires so firstly i bridged coil ign live to dizzy and also earthed it up but i still have nothing also put a earth to coil so dont no what to do next what does middle wire go to of dizzy green and white i belive

its brand new dizzy it was the plug tht goes to dizzy that had nothing

series one? must be green and yellow not white? just checked on wiring diagram for you,that wire goes to pin 20 on your ecu, i doubt very much it will be the problem, just so you know its the dizzy that triggers the coil to spark and not the other way round believe it or not, although you say you have a new dizzy that dont mean it cant be faulty,ive had that before in the past, worth trying another if poss as they are very prone for this problem, other thing id check is the earth wires next to the left of the heater box,one is the earth for the heater blower and the other is the earth for the ecu,if you have the heater box removed and that earth isnt connected you will have no spark.

the thing is all the wires to the dizzy plug are not showing a earth or power all earths checked and double checked put a light tester on coil ign live got power then swapped over to 2 green wires on coil and the light is very weak whats causing that tried it on all wires on dixxy plug and get nothing at all no power no earth the loom i paid good money for as it was mint

I believe one of the wires, green one, runs under the rad at the front and is prone to failure - particularly with some aftermarket intercoolers than can crush/chafe it.

hello m8 i had the same probs for months and this sounds the same i no that it may sound daft but starter solenoid was my problum it sounds like an obvious suggestion but give it a whirl.theres also a little blue wire that goes to the back ov the clocks on the s2 not sure bout s1s but this in prone to failure if this is failed u will have no spark either hope this helps, marc
