EVERY s2 I see on pistonheads is "rust free"
Why is it £2000 then? Did I spend a lot on mine for nothing

you will only sell a car for a certain price if some one is willing to pay that for it, looks like someone found you

seems to me that all rs cars are rust free...majority of them look good on the outside. thng is with escorts if they have a decent battery tray and fuse box then a lot of people call them mint..(not saying everyone btw)..as long as the battery tray is ok it doesnt matter that the floor is rotten! lol

No, you're getting it wrong.

RUST FREE means you're getting the rust for free.

thats a bit ott....there are plenty of rust free examples out there...1s that have been pampered by their owners...thing is you will pay high prices for cars that really are rust free.. just because the majority are shit boxes doesnt mean they all are

No, but I wonder how many of those cars that the owners think are rust free have the obligatory rust in the sunroof cavity?

Mine is one of the most solid RST's I have seen, the 2 area's of rust were caused by me. There is absolutely no grot underneath, but it still didn't escape the rust in the sunroof cavity.
