Depending on how well everything was washed/degreased, i.e the block etc, there may be some settlement of oil and shite in the water jackets within the block.
When you obviously get it up an running again you will end up with a small amount of oil/degeaser in your cooling system.
If this were the case, there shouldnt be much creamy stuff in there and a good flush out of the cooling system should get shot of it (if it is that of course!)
If it aint bad, give it a good clean out with lots of clean water and try again. If it doesnt work, it could be the h/gskt

I would have said probably not....???

The torque setttings should be:

Stage 1 = 20ft/lb (27.12Nm)
Stage 2 = 40ft/lb (54.23Nm)
Stage 3 = 60ft/lb (81.35Nm)

In the same sequence as normal (middle to outside)

Do you mean the block was acid dipped as the head would disintergrate shurely.

The ZVH and the ARP ones both are NON STRETCH, it is only the standard ford stretch bolt items that have the 90 degree sequence. The ZVH ones torque up in the same pattern sequence, but only to the torque settings in each of the three stages.

As for the gasket, you cannot use this as the piston bore on a 2.0l is much bigger than the standard CVH which is 79.96mm
