if it comes on the car from new,its not a modfication,right?

if it was a factory option then yes
if it was part of the design then no

phone the insurance company and check would be my advise

If your insuring a Fiesta Zetec you must advise them of every piece of kit that is not standard from the factory. If it is a dealer special you must inform them as it is not standard factory spec.

My insurance company insists I tell them about any options from factory

So that'll be Performance Blue Paint, Xenons and my full size spare wheel
