I had my work cut out for me the past few days. with doing the car show and having these cars to do.


anyway, day one ( thursday ) a red mitsubishi GTO. This thing had super hard paint for some reason. and i mean like nothing ive seen before, not even a cutting pad and megs 95, SSR3 or Menz 85 even made much difference to the swirls. Now, the owner didnt want proper correction, just wanted it looking better but never the less i had time limits to work by ( for bost cost andother reasons ), and only wanted the paint done, with his pre wash, so glass, wheel arches have nothing to do with me lol. With the paint being so hard i new i was in for it this time.

unfortunatly i couldnt get any durring photos on this one as i was abit pushed but this is what i did get



what i used.

the car was washed for when i got there, he didnt want anything done except the paint work

poorboys clay, spary and wipe for lube
rotary, megs brown cutting pad,
megs 95

Porter cable, sonus sfx2 enhance pad,
SSR1

didnt want me to use a hard wax, so

poorboys QW +

Nice car, over here it's the 3000GT or the AWD version 3000GT VR4
Who's yellow 1973 Mustang in the background? I had the same car in red almost 20 years ago.

 

looks like a good job going on.

not a fan of the spoiler and wheels,would look nicer standard imo

 

The mustang is his aswell, as is the hotrod. and the S1.

we have the 3000GT over here aswell

I cant stand them either lol
