hi i think i have a problem but i'm not sure if it is a problem:-/.when i take my oil cap off the car, the car still runs witch did'nt used to happen.i'm just a little concerned that somthing is blocked.

allso could any one tell me what the screw under the throttle body dose it's a screw with a spring over it right next to the throttle position sensor.i found it to be lose today and i could here air coming from it.would this cause me problems starting witch i am having

That sounds like the idle control screw which could explain it. My Escort used to cut out if the cap was taken off.

most rs turbos cut out wen cap is lifted off,but every xr3i that i have had has never ever cut out wen oil cap off,and i must of had nearly 20 of them.that screw is air mixture dont adjust it leave it as it is mate

That screw is your idle adjusting screw mate, it must not be loose wind it in until the car idles about 1000rpm mate. The air mixture screw is on the metering head behind the air filter (if you have a cone filter)!!
The car should cut out if you remove the oil filler cap, if not one of your breather hoses is completely blocked!
