avg used to be good until the new version came out.
Avast is much better, never have any problems with it and it actually detects things

Agreed

Used Avast free antivirus and free Zone Alarm firewall for years, never had any bother with viruses etc.

zonealarm is a pile of crock, i've lost count the amount of PC i've had to fix due to that sodding program

Sophos Anti-virus for me, by far the best on the market

I agree! Zonealarm isn't worth it, I use the free avast and it is excellent. I used to use avg, and it is pants compared to avast.

I've used Zonealarm for about 6-7 years, never had a problem. On my PC I use AVG & Zonealarm, no probs with either.
