Thought i would give my views of COD 5 on the PS3....AWESOME!!!!! LOL!!

Been playing it for an hour or so now and i love it! BIG fan of COD 4 but im crap at shoot em ups but i have fun nonetheless!

Graphics are still pretty sharpe considering my playing via AV and not HD at the moment...game play is immense...yet to go online with it though!

Ill be getting it on Xbox probably on tuesday so ill be glued to the PS3 until then getting some practice in LOL!

The intro the game is excellent and sykes you up lol...

Its based in the old skool days now fighting in japan/korea or something...some proper ninja style fighters in there to LOL...i got cut up by some dude with a ninja's sword LOL!!!

Good connection, i have contacts at EA as i used to work for the company that created Worms (Team17) i used to be a games tester when i was a pup.

Carnt wait to get the game, looking forward to single player...then kick ass online

 

I pre ordered my copy two weeks ago but it doesnt come out untill the 14th on XBOX360so cant have it untill then.

Downloaded the COD5 Beta version last night - it is quality - no helicopters anymore they have been replaced with dogs so much more kills when you unleash them, especially after calling in radar.

i want this game its on my christmas list, my bird bought me COD 4 last year and it took me 2 days to complete, havent got xbox live so was gutted

Ive downloaded the Beta version on xbox to..not had the chance to have a game yet though!

And i SERIOUSLY cant get to grips with the PS3 controller no more LOL! im all over the place HAHA!!

I want connections in EA to now Activision dont do a lot of games that i like....racing!) lol

Anyone know if there is a new Forza coming out lol

im playing te beta stages on pc at the min and the game is utter wank i think

bt hopefully once the beta is over they will have sorted most of it out, but so far not impressed, just very slow i think needs to be quicker like cod 4

dogs are cool though

 

i am not a massive fan on cod 4 although i have played it on my xbox online, i have heard from all my mates hooked on cod 4 that its not as good due to old weapons compared to the more modern weapons on cod 4. The are probably talking shit though and will be hooked on it after a week lol

game play on the PS3 is just as smooth if not a tad smoother than COD4...I never played much on the PS3, but from what i did experience...the gaming is spot on...

however, i HAVE to agree with the comment in regards to the older weaponary not being as good as COD4! Thats the one bit i dont like about the game so far!

Been playing the demo for last two weeks, awesome game agian.

 

COD 4 will not be beaten. Its perfect! Will not be selling my COD 4, getting the new one soon but just know the older one is better. Why go back! I loved my MP5 and M4 With Scope!

Whats a COD & a GOW, please tell an old sod thats never played a computer game in his life & unless forced at gunpoint never will .

offically get released on 14 November. I have it pre-ordered on 'The Hut' for 29.99 when there was a 15% off day..

If i don't like it i can always flog it off. But as said above COD4 has set such a high bench-mark it maybe too hard to beat!

 

I'm looking forward to getting this but I do think they will struggle to make it as good as COD4.

COD4 is one of the best games for decades and the online side of it is so addictive

 

Played the Beta last night, it's alright!

Tanks are fun as are signal flare's, how hard is it to put a pin back in a grenade?

Dogs are crazy so hard to kill them all, run up some ladders though or my mate said run into the water and they can't get to you

 

PC and XBOX 360 version are now available from all good download sites

 

i must say, i was hooked on cod 2 on the PC.....
but cod 4, Foook me, gaming perfection, everytime a new patch came out for the pc, it just got better and better and better!

loving the addition of extra map downloads on the patches!!!!
this time im going for Cod 5 on the 360-----Team talk baby!!!!

cant wait till this comes out, itll be the one and only game i buy on full price tag!

ohhh and cod4's single player.... pretty hard getting to grips to it playing it on hard (first time with weapons etc) but blooooody long and bloody good gameplay (on hard) good storyline too, although some things like not being able to actually take down the helicopter on the bridge on the last level was very annoying, they could have taken it to get a second ending,
other than that it still gave you good feelings when you finally finished it

 

i am currently tryig to complete it in all the game modes ie easy regualr hard pro etc.

thats the one thing I do like about waw, unscoped rifles that actually kill with one shot against the bouncing bunny hopping sprayers
cod4 was abit to hecktic for me and didnt really take much skill imo.

 

Looking at some clips of it, you can get reflex scopes for the guns on COD5. Also theres dogs instead of a helicopter after 7 kill streak. The software they used to make it was from IW who made COD4.
