hi guys was helping removing the engine from me m8ts saph 4x4 and i was unable to remove the gear leaver from the gearbox so that we can remove the gearbox to get the engine out, we had no clearance to remove the engine while the gearbox in place anybody got anyideas on how i can remove the gear leaver please ?

 

remove the electric window switch
remove the surround
lift up the rubber gaitors aruond it
unscrew the 4 philips screws
you will see 2 roll pins
you need to knock out one of these pics and then pull the skitcj off the end of the selector

it may be tight

 

dojj i didnt see any roll pins just a plastic sorround with a circlip in the middle any ideas
