Default trouble with my rs turbo

ive done an oil and filter change on my turbo and used millers 15w 50 oil. since starting the car, i now has a loud top end tap. is this oil to thick or will the tap go wen it has warmed up?

Thats the right oil mate dont know why you've got a tap? Are you sure it wasnt doing it before?

it had a damn hard run last night and never missed a beat, never tapped once. dropped the oil today replaced with millers 15W/50 mineral and now it taps even when the temp guage starts going up

get it out quick, u shouldnt use mineral oil in a erst, fully synthetic only, use mobil one motorsport 15w 50 or silkolene pro s 5w 40

as above i use AMS oil 5w 40

Yeah if its mineral oil get rid mate, Millers 15w50 is spot on but it must be Fully synthetic!
