Default SOLD

It was on my 1.8 engine which got 176bhp, Weber say 185bhp for a 2.0, but I definately think they were just being conservative.

Price, £2150 (cost me over £2700!), and you'll get everything for them including cams (Piper FOC20BP270, 260º inlet 248º exhaust) , Billet Weber Fuel Pressure Regulator, Full Alpha Loom, Weber Fuel Filter, linkages, Alpha ECU etc but it WON'T have the verniers or the fuel pump.

It's a plug & play kit, no need for mapping, 27mpg with NP, idles perfectly.

It's done around 6000 miles since brand new.

It'll fit straight onto any 1.8 or 2.0 Zetec engine with minimal work.

I'll take good offers on these before I put them on eBay, plus I'll be heading down to London (Woking actually) at the start of December, so I'm happy to bring them down and meet up with anyone to save on postage

Sadly never sold on eBay, had some really stupid offers though

I'll sell the TB's themselves, if someone's wanting to buy them alone, as I know I can get the rest of the bits sold easily enough.

How much are you thinking for the TBs & bits to get it all working?

Been doing some research, and it turns out the coilpack & crank sensors are the same on blacktop engines as they are on silvertop engines, and so are the inlet manifolds, so it means that the actual TB kit can be fitted to blacktops as well as silvertop engines

I've been told that the coilpack plugs are the same, or if need be, use silvertop coilpack & leads and it'll be cool.

If you can tell me what the differences are, it'll be greatly appreciated.

Yes the plug is the same, but the packs are different although interchangeable! Either will work fine with the Weber ECU.

The silver & blacktop kits are different part numbers anyway. Maybe worth just giving Webcon a call to check?

Could be in the mapping or just as simple as different wiring plugs?

Ade - I'll email Webcon to find out if there's any differences in the map.

Some more pics of when I got them:

The ECU:

Inlet manifold:

Fuel Pressure Regulator:

Forgot to say as well, the red pipes sticking up from the TB's are the air feed for the Cold Start Valve, and these really make a difference on the cold days (superb bit of kit you don't get on Jenvey's, just makes these so much more usable daily)

I keep getting messsages on prices for seperate parts, so here it is:

TB's/Inlet/Linkages/Loom/ECU/FPR - £1500

If the TB's sell themselves, then these parts are for sale:
Cams - £200
Veniers - £100
Exhaust - £100

I'm open to sensible offers as well

i'd split it all and sell it in bits, you'll struggle to find anyone with that sort of money for modding at the mo
