Default Kalirel electric heating

We are getting fed up with the performance and cost of our 17 year-old electric heating (storage heaters, focal fire and panel heaters) but there's no gas in the village and I don't fancy having oil or gas tanks in the garden.

I've been talking to someone about Kalirel electric heating radiators with cyclops radio control, so each radiator is controlled individually for time and heat settings and are, by all accounts, a lot more efficient.

Anyone have any experience or know about some other heating system I should be aware of before committing myself?

The house is a 4 bedroom bungalow if that makes a difference and it's looking like £4000-£4500 installed.

Why dont you go with oil or lpg and fit a traditional system? cant say ive heard of Kalirel. considered solar or any renewable energy? thing is its expensive and is not goin to pay for itself.

As said, I don't fancy having a tank in the garden and also have a problem situating one with line of sight to the road.

Apart from that, I think that oil and gas are just as expensive as electricity nowadays, and the Kalirel system can install using the existing wiring so there will be no mess or upheaval like fitting a wet-system.

I'm thinking about a couple of photovoltaic panels on the roof but they will have to wait till the price comes down and efficiency gets better.
