will a diesel gearbox fit a frst?
my frst needs a gearbox and a mate has a mk3 fiesta van and he sayed i could have the box if it will fit but does it fit? help plz

Yes it will fit.
It will have no limited slip diff that the escort rst has (not the fiesta RST)
The box is no stronger than the rs box
You should have slightly taller 4 and 5th gears in it.
