I was made redundant on Friday,our workshop has been slow the past month or so and our main competitor went into receivership last week as well, just shows the way things are in his country just now.

has anybody else just been made redundant?

 

don't know till monday mate.

 

not yet but the way the building trades went this year nothings gauranteed safe.

 

the worst bit is the waiting to find out, I knew for about 2 weeks that someone was going.

 

Got layed off 6 weeks ago, been back now for a 3 day week.

 

im in building trade, we had it a month or so ago. 4 people went at my place and 1 of are 5 companys around the county closed .
