I want to put a car on a set of rollers a few times, just to monitor accurately the effect of some changes I will be making to it in terms of BHP as I want to write about them in a mag I do some work for, I dont normally bother with rolling roads as BHP figures dont especially bother me providing a car goes well, so not really got much experience of who to use locally.

I know that Tipton Garage come very highly recomended in this area, but sadly this bit:
kind of negates me being able to use them for this as im hoping to nearly double that figure.

I know Alan Jeffreys in plymouth have a dyno dynamics, but would rather not have to travel that far as I intend on making quite a few trips to and from.


So nearest well respected set of rollers capable of circa 500bhp to Taunton in Somerset is what Im after if anyone can help out?

 

try asking DD as they'll have a list?

 

Good Idea Jim, although im not fussed about it being a DD one specifically, plenty of other good makes of rollers out there

Ah, forget that one then! Unless he has moved elsewhere with his DD rollers...

There are two in Gillingham I believe, Autotechnics, and something like "Spectrum" Engineering.

Or AP Motors in Plymouth also have a DD roller, although I don't rate the operator who did my Cossie.

Gillingham is further than the ones up around weston/bristol.
