The ST engine is not a V5 its a straight 5

still a 5 lol but its not the same as a focus rs shell is it the st shares the volvo chassis

st stuff will just bolt into the coonect as they all share very similar engine/gearbox cradles

is it a stand alone loom like a cosy or is it integrated into the car loom

def can be done, i know of 1 thats being done just now, engine and box is in, its just not running yet as he's using after market management so is waiting for the loom being made, dont know if he had to mod anyfin to fit it but he didn't mention it so i assume nothing major if anyfin

just try to get the full look from the car & fit it in the van or go the confusing way of aftermaket ecu lol

You need a bit more than just the loom... you need the instrument cluster too

i know that he got all the bits from a stolen recovered bent 1, he had no keys and a lot of bits had been robbed so thats why he decided to just go for the management change, was actualy the cheaper option,
i'll see him at the weekend and ask how easy it fitted in for you mate

seeing as the ecu lives in the inlet manifold under the plastic and the loom just unplugs, i'm sure there is an easy way around this

i do have an engine/gearbox/ecu etc sitting here waiting to go into a mondeo when it turns up
otherwise it's going to go into the back of the sierra
