whos best to use nowadays for a full hpi check? i know the rac do one for a fiver,but i presume thats just a very basic one?

 

Hpi are about £22 but you do get a file sent through iirc (ask) the cheap one can be a bit basic IMO, better to pay a little more if you have seen the car and are keen on buying and get a proper one done.

Think the AA charge £40!!!!!!

The RAC one has gone up now I think, but it's still cheaper than HPi and it's a full check, not a basic one. You don't get a file in the post but you can print it out.
And if you give them the V5 serial number it's guaranteed.
