Smokey and the Banit legend Jerry Reed died
Whilst youtubing tonight I came across the fact that Cledus Snow, aka Jerry Reed died on the 31st Aug.
I'm so sad to hear about that, as that films are my most favourite films. I even have East Bound and Down as my ringtone for months!!
RIP my friend.

You confused me with regards my age then as Elvis died two weeks before I was born!

Most guy's over 30 must remember being 10 yrs old and dreaming of caning that black Trans Am with Frog undressing next to ya' or driving that huge Mack rig with the ol' bloodhound in the passenger seat... RIP Snowman

"10-4 on that choke and puke son ...... and while youre there do me a favour and pick up a little something for Fred; he's lookin a little thin in the skin, comeback" Ha, ha, ha, ha.
I loved these films growing up too. When i was of a primary school age back in the early eighties my Aunt had a '78 T-Top Tranny as per the Bandits (except it had beige trim instead of black) but i didn't care at six years old ........ the envy of the school when she came to pick my cousin and me up!
Smokey and the Bandit; cracking films !!!
