Anyone had anything done, company recomendations essex/kent suffolk ways?

what did you have done? costs?

talking proper job, ie sandblasting off the chrome or de-electroplating?
then primered and resprayed in a body colour etc

Both metal and plasticed chromed items.


something I may require having done in the future

What was it you were thinking of having done? Media blasting at high enough pressure to remove chrome plating will probably be more than enough to destroy plastic...

I do wet media blasting at work, so can help you out if necessary?

looking at geting a d40 nissan navara in the future, just i cant stand chrome on modern vehicles.

so was looking into getting the huge front grill painted body colour, hopefully black and the rear bumper, all depending on whats involved

Well in that case, i would just get the chrome painted over! Just needs scuffing, priming and painting.

you think?

thought i may get away with this on the front grill, but the rear bumper?

thought even with the chrome roughed up, the primer would still have issues staying attached all over?
