Alternator Wiring
Can anyone help, im changing my alternator and have found that the new alternator hasnt got the push type connector instead it has threaded studs for eyelet type connectors can any tell me what colour wire is which???

small blue wire goes to D+ on the alternator, 2 red wired connected together go to the B+ terminal.
W terminal is a single-phase output and not used normally.
The alternator fitted to your vehicle would probably have been a 45/55A, and the new one will be a 70A or greater. Make sure your red cables are up to the job or it could all end very warm and toasty if you know what I mean.....
