Been offered one against my current car (bmw 330d) and am quite tempted, dont really know much about them,can anyone help me? what are they like in general and are they known to have many problems. The car is in black on a 2000 x plate.Thanks

ive seen loads of rusty mercs. makes me laugh that people slate fords for it.
vauxhalls,mercs,old bms,fiat,lancia,alfa,rovers. they all do it but fords are the one slated for it. at least the fords didnt cost 70k and do it.

best car ive ever had, every luxury you could think of and the leather recaros are just lovely

my favorite thing is the trip box, not sure if id ever buy a car without one again. it super smooth

the 4 x 4 system makes the car feel like it half the weight

performace wise its not super quick of the mark (0-60 is about 5.6 secs) but the in gear accelaration is superb

no turbos or dodgy supsension to worry about like the rs6 and it has been faultless ableit the service being pricey but its not due again for ages now

its not missed a beat

 

merc dealers are told "patch them up, ship them out" they buckets lol

 

Is the engine in the clk55 the same as the one in the slk55 and the e55?
