could some1 tell me how there is some e-reg 3drs knocking around that arent rs500,my mate adamant there all 500s but im sure ive seen some that arent but how are they not? are they private builds or did ford make em? cheers

There are a limited few that are 3dr RS Cosworths not RS500's.
Marco and RSJP of this board are a lucky few who own such examples.

i have an e plate 3 door,got the 500 bits on it too

are they that rare,as say a d reg series 1?

cheers for clearing that up,mainly seen em in fastford but saw 1 at santa pod last year at classic ford show,id say they mega rare

I used to have an E plate 3dr (as per pic below) and there aren't too many around. I wouldn't say they're as rare as a D plate S1 (i have one of these too!) but they are pretty sparse. What is rare is a F plate 3dr ...... now they are far and few between!

E platers are not rare and don't have any difference in value at all, not as many on the road as D platers but their still plenty about.

C plate 3drs are rare as theirs only about half a dozen.

Can't say i've seen an F plate road going 3dr yet.

incorrect, there are more than that, the white ones were prototypes (4 i believe) but there are some black ones too
