No spoiler like that just can't look good on any car.

Well of course people can do what they want for their cars, but still.

I think the spoiler is too big for the boot to hold.

I can't see any solution for it.

that'll never work tbh mate, take it off. It looks all wrong for the car, the car is standard looking and a nice set of wheels will improve the look 437x more than that spoiler.

Its too heavy, the mounts are too close together for it to be stable with that height and weight and it'll slow the car down massively

as Kevin_Mc said, that spoiler is producing more drag than down force.

These spoiler look better. (pic stolen from google )

Looks like an RX7 spoiler. Definitley doesnt suite an escort mate.

Have to agree. Just not the right style for an Escort.
Sell and get some nice rims

I agree with the boot spoiler really finishes the back end off nicely on these cars

If your going to fit a big spoiler to that car mate you need to try and fit one that suits it, eg.....

The WRC spoiler looks much better than that imho.

FIRST OFF I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THIS THREAD SHOULD BE IN THE MUPPET ROOM .......lol what the hell is that...it looks straight out of halfords m8 why would you even waist your money on mods that dont offer any again and spoils the whole car.if your 16 i understand.you say u want your car to be different because all of ours look the same..but there is a reason why we leave them standard!!!

I'm the ttype (as many on here are) who like to spend my money for under the hood, infact i still have the shity sound system from 1995 on my escos. Thats because i rather listen to the engine.

And than there are your type who spend money on body work, but point is if you don't have a LOT of power you just don't need that spoiler, on that car it will just create drag, and make you spend more money fuel.

Finaly comapred to other forums we have been very polite and didn't make fun of you (and belive me we could had some good lolz), and tried to help you. So don't go in defense mode and say that our cars are "gay", and you spend alot of money on the sound system

Surely taking it off is the best way to make it more stable. The car wont fall over then either.

no bother, hope we don't hear from you again.

there's a reason "our cars" all look the same mate - PassionFORD not passionSHITE

one more thing though, if you like making your car so individual (and i'm assuming you mean the one that was getting pounded) why do you say its your girlfriend's car you're posting about.

pmsl, but seriously . . . . that is one big ass spoiler and personally i want to see what he has done to make it more stable.maybe wedged a shopping trolley in between the fins or or something subtle like that to match the spoiler.
