Getting registration number printed in windows and headlights etc??

Does any one know what kind of company will do this??

i want to change my headlights in series 2 but i like the registration number printed on them

last time we had it done was by autoglass and was free iirc, itsa bad idea imo if you change the plate, much better to do the chassis number.
i have seen the etching polished out too btw also seen the reg stamped on body panels of vans,bit like overkill but not if your vans keep going walkies

no idea of companies who do it,its done by sandblasting through a template(done hundreds) served time at ford dealer,i know you used to be able to buy a kit

probably cos its piss easy and quick to do, i have had a cozzie with the original number plates etched on and a new number plate on the car which didn't match, it pissed me off

come on chuck !!!

if some slag rings a car or breaks it or somebody buys a rare bit of glass with etches they either polish it out or run the risk of getting caught or their car looking dodgy

You can use a kit from tandy to do this a diamond tipped pen and stencil, about £10 about 10 years ago!!
